ONLINE SAFETY
The internet and technology can be exciting and provide us with the opportunity to do amazing things. However, for many children they can also lead to unfamiliar and sometimes scary situations. For many adults it can feel like children are one step ahead of them when it comes to using the internet and other technology. On this page you will find lots of links which will give you information to help keep safe online. |
HOW CAN YOU HELP?It is everybody's responsibility to make sure children and young people feel safe and cared for. It is important that you know who to speak to if you are concerned about ANY child in or out of school. Passing on information could help to safeguard young people and should not be seen as interfering.
WHO TO CONTACT?We have several people at school you can contact if you are concerned about something: Designated Safeguarding Lead: Mrs Travis Deputy Safeguarding Lead: Ms Starrett Designated Governor: Paul Dinning For more urgent matters please contact the police on 999.
To report something you see online directly to the police use this button: or contact Kirklees Safeguarding Partnership: |
