WELCOME TO DESIGN TECHNOLOGY

Please look below for a range of materials and resources that shape pupils learning about how design is influenced by technology and current manufacturing methods in our school. If you can't find what you're looking for, please contact our design technology lead, Mrs Jane Travis, through the school office.

 INTENT

Our design technology curriculum allows pupils to learn,  and build on, appropriate subject knowledge, skills and understanding as they move on their journey through school. Our aim is for all pupils to be able to draw on their experiences in their later lives.

IMPLEMENTATION

Delivery of cross curricular design and technology projects with a clear structure that progresses skills and knowledge through school and across year groups.

IMPACT

Children will ultimately know more, remember more and understand more about Design Technology, demonstrating this knowledge when using tools or skills in other areas of the curriculum and in opportunities out of school and later life.
